For anyone who regularly schedules dashboard and table exports, the setup screen has been trimmed down: the 'Plan type' field and the 'Stop date' and 'Resume date' fields have been removed, leaving only the information actually needed to set up a schedule. The result is a more direct workflow, where business analysts no longer have to navigate rarely used options just to save an export plan.

A cleaner export plan dialog

When creating or editing an export plan for a dashboard or table visual object, the dialog no longer asks for a 'Plan type', nor for 'Stop date' and 'Resume date' under the stop-and-resume dates section. Anyone configuring a scheduled export now sees a shorter form, with only the fields needed to set the schedule they actually want.

  • The 'Plan type' field no longer appears in the export plan dialog for dashboards and tables
  • The 'Stop date' and 'Resume date' fields have been removed from the 'Stop and resume dates' section

What changes for you

If you regularly schedule exports for dashboards or tables, you'll notice a more compact dialog: there's no plan type to pick and no stop or resume dates to set when they weren't needed anyway. Saving a new export plan now takes fewer steps.

Why it matters

Fewer fields to fill in means fewer chances to get something wrong, and less time spent working out which option actually applies to the task at hand. For analysts managing several export schedules, that adds up to faster setup and an easier starting point for new team members.
